Basketball Game Preview: Cayuga Wildcats vs. Eustace Bulldogs

The Cayuga Wildcats will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Eustace Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Cayuga is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They fell just short of Quitman by a score of 64-62 on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Eddie Satterwhite, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Satterwhite, who had 14 points.

Meanwhile, Eustace had to suffer through a 55-11 loss at the hands of Brook Hill.

Cayuga didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Eustace in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 63-59 victory. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
