Volleyball Recap: Soddy Daisy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Soddy Daisy hadn't done well against East Hamilton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Trojans came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Soddy Daisy can attribute much of their success to Kylie Bunch, who had 13 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Bunch a new career-high in assists (three).

Bunch wasn't the only good server: Soddy Daisy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. The Trojans are 7-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Soddy Daisy's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for East Hamilton, they dropped their record down to 8-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Soddy Daisy has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Jasper on the 12th. As for East Hamilton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Bradley Central on the 11th.
