Soccer Game Preview: Lampasas vs. Fredericksburg

The Lampasas Badgers will square off against the Fredericksburg Billies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lampasas is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Lampasas' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Lake Belton 1-0. Given the Badgers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Broncos are ranked 619th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Fredericksburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Floresville on Friday, taking the game 3-1.

Lampasas' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four games. As for Fredericksburg, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
