Baseball Recap: Edinburgh Takes a Loss

Edinburgh's last matchup with Waldron could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Lancers lost 14-1 to the Mohawks. The Lancers have struggled against the Mohawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Edinburgh's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Waldron, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edinburgh will welcome Indiana School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Waldron, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Milan at 5:00 p.m. The Mohawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
