Softball Recap: Napoleon Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Napoleon was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Homer Trojans. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 10-3 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Napoleon now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Homer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Napoleon will welcome Ida at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Pirates are facing the Bluestreaks at the right time seeing as the Bluestreaks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Homer, they will square off against Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
