Basketball Recap: St. John's Falls Despite Big Games from Malachi Booker and Sebastian Williams-Adams

St. John has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 66-59 to the Prep Student Academic Training Academy National Panthers on Saturday.

St. John's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sebastian Williams-Adams, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points and four blocks, and Malachi Booker, who went 9 of 20 on his way to 24 points. The contest was Booker's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Hunt, who posted seven points.

St. John's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Prep Student Academic Training Academy National, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

St. John's has already played their next matchup, a 77-53 win against Houston Christian on the 7th. As for Prep Student Academic Training Academy National, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-47 defeat against Second Baptist on the 7th.
