Basketball Recap: Shannon Finds Home Court Redemption Against Mooreville

There's no place like home for Shannon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Mooreville Troopers by a score of 68-56 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Red Raiders, who suffered a 38-37 loss the last time these two teams met.

Shannon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Mooreville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Shannon will be playing in front of their home fans against Itawamba Agricultural at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mooreville, they are taking a road trip to take on East Webster at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
