Baseball Recap: Cooper Jaguars vs. Beechwood Tigers
After flying high against Holy Cross on Monday, Cooper came back down to earth. The Jaguars came up short against the Beechwood Tigers on Tuesday, falling 16-5. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 10, 2022, but that streak is no more.
Ryker Campbell made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Zach Salsberry, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Cooper's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Beechwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.
