Basketball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last 11 matches, Washington finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Highland Park Scots, falling 54-30. The Wildcats have struggled against the Scots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Washington's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Highland Park, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Washington will be playing in front of their home fans against Harmon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland Park has already played their next contest (against West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
