Volleyball Recap: Baldwin Comes Up Short

Baldwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mary Persons Bulldogs. Surprisingly, this marked the Braves' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20.

Baldwin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Mary Persons, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Baldwin has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Howard on the 18th. As for Mary Persons, they will square off against Peach County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
