Sayre proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Scott County Cardinals by a goal, winning 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

Sayre's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Scott County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-3.

As of now, neither Sayre nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
