Basketball Recap: Ignacio Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Ignacio got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They managed a 49-43 victory over the Alamosa Mean Moose on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory got Ignacio back to even at 8-8. As for Alamosa, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Ignacio will take on Monte Vista at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Alamosa, they will face off against Lamar at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lamar is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season.
