Baseball Recap: East Nashville Magnet Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

East Nashville Magnet fell 5-2 to Nashville Christian. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, East Nashville Magnet couldn't push the score so high this time.

East Nashville Magnet saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chauncey Anthony, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Anthony has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

East Nashville Magnet's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8. As for Nashville Christian, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

Looking ahead, East Nashville Magnet will host Whites Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cobras will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nashville Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Mount Juliet Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
