Metrolina Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles as they made off with a 10-0 win. Considering the Warriors have won 13 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Metrolina Christian Academy got a great performance from Case Gibbs as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Gibbs has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Abram Hargett was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Alex Lerch was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Metrolina Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as SouthLake Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .250.

Metrolina Christian Academy pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Metrolina Christian Academy will challenge Legion Collegiate Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they will face off against Christ School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
