MacDonald put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Homestead Mustangs by a score of 14-7. While the Condor didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead MacDonald to victory, but perhaps none more so than John Leonard, who rushed for 107 yards and one TD. Those 107 rushing yards gave Leonard a new career-high.

MacDonald's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Homestead, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MacDonald will take on Cupertino at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Condor will be up against the Pioneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Homestead, they will face off against Monta Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Matadors' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
