While Antioch didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Elgin Maroons by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Sequoits sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Justin Niznik paced Antioch's offense, picking up eight kills. Niznik got some help from Ryan Jilly and his 15 assists. Ethan Espinoza controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Antioch's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Elgin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Antioch has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Round Lake on the 22nd. As for Elgin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Larkin on the 22nd.
