Baseball Recap: Prairie Ridge Comes Up Short

Prairie Ridge was the 9-1 winner over Belvidere North when they last played one another back in April of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. Prairie Ridge fell 5-2 to Belvidere North on Friday.

Prairie Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brennan Coyle, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Prairie Ridge now has a losing record of 0-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie Ridge will face off against St. Francis at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Belvidere North, they will square off against Sycamore at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
