Rochester is 2-8 against Peru since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rochester Zebras will host the Peru Tigers at 7:45 p.m. Rochester is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Rochester came up short against Triton and fell 60-52.

Rochester might have lost, but man, Tanner Reinartz was a machine: he went 8-for-12 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Prater, who posted nine points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Peru was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 56-37 fall against Western.

Rochester will have to contain Reis Bellar as he made an impact in Peru's last game. He scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Turner, who put up six points and seven boards.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Peru, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Rochester has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 22.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Peru struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
