You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Upperman on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Macon County Tigers out of the water with a 48-17 final score. The result was nothing new for the Bees, who have now won eight games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Bronzdon Chaffin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 220 yards and four scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in August. Trevor Palk was in the mix too, providing Upperman with one touchdown.

The win (which was Upperman's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.8 points over those games. As for Macon County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Coming up, Upperman will challenge Signal Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. As for Macon County, they will square off against Red Bank at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Lions' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
