Softball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

If Cameron was riding high fresh off their 18-3 takedown of Valley last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cameron came up short against the West Greene Pioneers on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Dragons were not able to make up for their loss to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in April of 2017.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. West Greene has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cameron will face off against Madonna at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Greene, they will challenge Mayfield at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
