Basketball Recap: Lower Lake Trojans vs. Sonoma Valley Dragons
Lower Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 71-47 to the Sonoma Valley Dragons. The Trojans were down 61-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Vinny Girish continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sonoma Valley, going 11 for 20 en route to 26 points. Those 26 points gave Girish a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Giarritta, who posted 12 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.
