Having struggled with 12 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Glades Central turned things around against Inlet Grove on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Hurricanes as they made off with a 21-3 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Anthony Leon was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Christian Reyes, who scored four runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Juan Mojica, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Glades Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .698. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Inlet Grove only posted an OBP of .381.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to Vero Beach.

Glades Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Lincoln Park Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Lincoln Park Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Glades Central has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .455. It's a different story for Lincoln Park Academy, though, as they've only averaged .234. Will they be able to contain Glades Central's hitters?
