Volleyball Game Preview: Pioneer Patriots vs. River City Raiders

The Pioneer Patriots are taking a road trip to square off against the River City Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Pioneer took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Rodriguez. The Patriots not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 24th.

Pioneer walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12, 25-17.

Meanwhile, River City got the win against Wood on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

River City never let Wood on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-22.

River City now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Pioneer, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Pioneer might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from River City in their previous matchup back in March. Can Pioneer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
