While Ponchatoula's victory against Mandeville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Ponchatoula Green Wave narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mandeville Skippers 6-5. The Green Wave haven't had any issues with the Skippers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Abby Dagro spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
