Frenship was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Odessa on Friday. The Tigers breezed past the Bronchos to the tune of 47-6. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bronchos recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Braiden Dunkerson was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 191 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Those 191 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Frenship back to even at 4-4. As for Odessa, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Frenship will square off against rival Permian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Chase Campbell and Jakob Garcia. Meanwhile, Odessa is set to take on their familiar foe San Angelo Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
