Basketball Recap: Hartford Takes a Loss

Hartford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Decatur Raiders and fell 42-14. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Hartford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Decatur, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Hartford will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on White Pigeon at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Decatur and Bloomingdale will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Decatur is facing Bloomingdale at the right time seeing as Bloomingdale is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
