Boyertown extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 10-9 in the process. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Spring-Ford Rams. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Rams back in April, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

As for Spring-Ford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9. While getting shut out isn't ideal, they haven't been shut out since back in March.

For Spring-Ford's part, they got a good showing from Ethan Freed, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Freed also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Rams are 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-7 otherwise.

At the plate, Spring-Ford saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Witmer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Boyertown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Methacton on the 7th. As for Spring-Ford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-1 loss against Phoenixville on the 7th.
