Soccer Game Preview: Bonita Vista vs. Olympian

The Bonita Vista Barons will square off against the Olympian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Olympian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bonita Vista, who comes in off a win.

Bonita Vista took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Southwest SD. The Barons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Olympian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Eastlake, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 841st, while the Titans are ranked 307th).

The victory snapped Bonita Vista's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4-1 record. As for Olympian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-2.
