Soccer Game Preview: Findlay vs. Notre Dame Academy

The Findlay Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Notre Dame Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Findlay will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Findlay turned things around against Lexington on Monday. They and the Minutemen finished up their contest with a 4-4 draw. The result was nothing new for Findlay as the team haven't won a game since September 17th.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame Academy also has not seen a win for a while (their last was back in September), and their match on Saturday was sadly no different. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Elida.

Notre Dame Academy's draw gives them a new season record of 2-7-4. As for Findlay, they moved theirs to 5-6-3.

Findlay suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Notre Dame Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
