Volleyball Recap: Pilot Point Comes Up Short

Pilot Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitewright Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Pilot Point's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Whitewright, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Pilot Point has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Sherman on the 23rd. As for Whitewright, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Whitesboro on the 26th.
