Volleyball Recap: Pilot Point Comes Up Short

Pilot Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Whitewright Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Pilot Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Whitewright, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Pilot Point has already played their next matchup (against Sherman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Whitewright, they will take on Whitesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
