Football Game Preview: Bullard-Havens Tigers vs. ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] + Official Tickets

The Bullard-Havens Tigers will face off against ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bullard-Havens is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 33 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Cheney Tech last Friday. They were dealt a 34-6 defeat at the hands of the Chargers.

Despite the loss, Bullard-Havens got top-tier performance from Joshua Headley, who rushed for 174 yards while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Headley's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] entered their tilt with Wilbur Cross on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They strolled past the Governors with points to spare, taking the game 26-12. ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] pushed the score to 26-6 by the end of the third, a deficit Wilbur Cross cut but never quite recovered from.

Bullard-Havens better keep an eye on Josh Fontaine. He was instrumental in ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate]'s win, picking up 45 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 30 yards.

ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate]'s win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Bullard-Havens, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Tuesday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Bullard-Havens has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 219.4 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate], though, as they've been averaging only 55.4 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Bullard-Havens won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, slipping by ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] 14-13. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate]'s Jayvionne Hill, who picked up 137 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 99 yards and one TD on only eight carries.
