Manchester snaps three-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Manchester Red Hawks vs. Windsor Warriors

The Manchester Red Hawks were the 57-47 winner over the Windsor Warriors when they last played one another back in February of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. Manchester received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 65-48 to Windsor.

Manchester's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tiara Tyson, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 56.3% of Manchester's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Mia Gilbert was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Manchester's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Windsor, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester will stay at home for another game and welcome Northwest Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Windsor will take on Berlin at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Berlin has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 176 points over their last three matches.
