Soccer Recap: Chowchilla's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Chowchilla's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Liberty Hawks by a score of 3-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Tribe as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Liberty with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Armando Castro, David Perez-Borges, and Christopher Aguilar-Garcia.

Chowchilla's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-3. As for Liberty, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-3 record this season.

Chowchilla will square off against Fresno Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Chowchilla is facing Fresno Christian at the right time seeing as Fresno Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Minarets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
