Basketball Recap: Lake Forest Comes Up Short

Lake Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 62-23 defeat at the hands of the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Lake Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, Lake Forest and Sussex Tech will face off at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, they and Brandywine will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
