South Pasadena scaled the state rankings by moving to 756 from 794 this week, the biggest jump in Rio Hondo. The Tigers climbed the ranks as a result of besting Beverly Hills 41-7.

San Marino took down South El Monte 63-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Monrovia's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Deshawn Potts threw for 66 and 1 touchdown and Seth Raines had 35 yards receiving. On the ground Kurt Scoby contributed 122 yards. Scoby helped Monrovia's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 18 yards.

Scoby provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Wildcats fell to St. Francis.

Raines was the best receiver in the league this week as Monrovia lost to the Golden Knights. Raines racked up 1 reception for 35 yards. Scoby helped Monrovia's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 18 yards.

On the heels of Potts and Scoby, Ryan Maddox's team has had great success on offense. Potts leads the league in passing with 458 yards, while Scoby has rushed for 871 yards this season. La Canada's Todd Murray leads the league in receiving yards with 123 on 10 catches.

One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when the Wildcats and Temple City face off next week.

A big matchup in Rio Hondo this week will be when South Pasadena takes on the Titans. Martin Konrad's team is currently in third, while San Marino is in first.

The Tigers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,782 from 11,362. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 41-7 victory over the Normans last week.
