If Leeton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Midway, they should've done a better job of containing Dakota Dean. The Midway Vikings managed a 36-32 victory over the Leeton Bulldogs on Friday thanks in part to Dean, who almost dropped a triple-double with 15 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Midway's points.

Midway is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. As for Leeton, they dropped their record down to 9-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Midway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-49 win against Osceola on the 17th. Leeton has also already played their next contest (against St. Paul Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
