Alameda has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mt. Eden recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Monarchs at 7:45 p.m. Neither Alameda nor Mt. Eden posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

On Saturday, Alameda came up short against Los Gatos and fell 14-6.

Meanwhile, Mt. Eden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 31-0 to Berkeley, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Monarchs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 715th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 264th).

Mt. Eden's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Alameda, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1.

Everything came up roses for Alameda against Mt. Eden when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 27-0 win. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Monarchs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
