Soccer Game Preview: Lathrop vs. Livingston

The Lathrop Spartans will head out to challenge the Livingston Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lathrop is headed into Tuesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 17. They and Johansen finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Livingston's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand Central Valley a 1-0 shutout. Wolves' winning goal came courtesy of Diego De-Leon Bernal.

With that draw, Lathrop's record moves to 8-7-4. As for Livingston, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-2.

Lathrop was able to grind out a solid win over Livingston when the teams last played back in January, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lathrop since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
