Softball Recap: Calhoun County Falls to Wagener-Salley in First Game of Season

Calhoun County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 15-4 to the Wagener-Salley War Eagles. The Saints were not able to make up for their loss to the War Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Calhoun County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michaela Craven, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3.

The win got Wagener-Salley back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Calhoun County will be playing in front of their home fans against Wagener-Salley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wagener-Salley, they will square off against Providence Athletic Club at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
