Softball Recap: Thorsby Comes Up Short

Thorsby and Childersburg squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Thorsby had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Thorsby saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Reeser, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs. Another was Addison Wood, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Thorsby's loss dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Childersburg, they now have a winning record of 19-18.

Thorsby has already played their next match, a 14-0 win against Comer on the 26th. Childersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
