Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Phoenix). They claimed a resounding 71-22 victory over the Grand Isle Trojans. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 25 points or more this season.

The win (which was Phoenix's sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-12. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.7 points per game. As for Grand Isle, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Phoenix didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-49 victory against Chalmette on the 3rd. As for Grand Isle, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Berwick at 5:30 p.m. on February 11th.
