Basketball Recap: Bearden Comes Up Short

Bearden was the 62-50 winner over Hermitage when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears received a blow on Friday as they fell 54-38 to the Hermits. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bearden's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hermitage, they moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Bearden and Hermitage will both be playing Lafayette County the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hermits will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
