Football Recap: Temecula Valley Comes Up Short

Temecula Valley fell victim to Elsinore and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Even if they lost, Temecula Valley's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Shane Wulfenstein and Kaleb Vacketta, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Kai Tamagpong was nothing short of spectacular for Elsinore: he rushed for 136 yards and one score.

Temecula Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Elsinore, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Temecula Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 48-27 victory against Paloma Valley on the 5th. As for Elsinore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 27-21 defeat against Palm Desert on the 5th.
