Basketball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca was the 50-47 winner over Barnegat when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Seneca Golden Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 49-48 to the Barnegat Bengals.

Seneca now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Barnegat, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Seneca will finish 2024 at home by hosting Washington Township at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Barnegat, they will head out to take on Pleasantville at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday.
