Basketball Recap: Parkway Central Comes Up Short

Parkway Central was the 64-44 winner over University City when they last played one another back in January of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Parkway Central Colts came up short against the University City Lions on Tuesday, falling 67-45. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Lions are ranked 92nd).

Parkway Central's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-6. As for University City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Parkway Central has already played their next matchup (against Rockwood Summit), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the University City Lions duke it out with the Seckman Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
