Softball Recap: Ramsay's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Ramsay came into Thursday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 14-9 victory over the Minor Tigers on Thursday. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kennedi Nichols-Ford was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Keleiloa Thomas, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Ramsay kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Ramsay's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Minor, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Looking ahead, Ramsay will take on Shades Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Minor, they will venture away from home to take on Jackson-Olin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Minor's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
