Basketball Game Preview: Hudson Explorers vs. Shaker Heights Red Raiders

The Hudson Explorers will square off against the Shaker Heights Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hudson will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Hudson will bounce into Monday's game after beating Stow-Munroe Falls, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Hudson walked away with a 49-37 victory over Stow-Munroe Falls on Saturday. Given the Explorers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 217th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Shaker Heights had to suffer through a 66-28 loss at the hands of Mentor.

Shaker Heights' loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Hudson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
