Soccer Game Preview: Skyline vs. Shelley

The Skyline Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the Shelley Russets at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Skyline is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Idaho Falls on Tuesday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for Skyline in their meetings with Idaho Falls: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Shelley didn't have quite enough to beat Blackfoot on Tuesday and fell 5-4.

Miguel Chavez and Tristan Howell scored all four of the Russets' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for Shelley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7-2.
