            Volleyball Recap: Harrisburg Bulldogs vs. Herrin Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            
Harrisburg was the  2-1 winner over Herrin when they last played one another  back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell  2-0 to the Tigers on Thursday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Harrisburg might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Herrin: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26,  25-23.
 Jamisen Green paced Harrisburg's offense, picking up ten kills. Green got some help from  McKendra Douglas and her 17 assists.  Emma Morse controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Herrin, their victory  ended  a  four-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 8-19.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will host Carmi-White County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Herrin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against DuQuoin  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
