Basketball Recap: Fairview Sets Scoring Season-High Against Varnum

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairview). They blew past the Varnum Whippets, posting a 77-31 victory. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 23 points or more this season.

Fairview is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Varnum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.

Fairview has already played their next contest (against Thomas-Fay-Custer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Varnum wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-30 defeat against Lone Grove on the 24th.
